What did you want to be when you grew up? If you’re still in the growing up process, what do you want to be? If you’re “grown up,” did you end up being what you wanted when you were a kid, or did you end up being something else, and what do you think about where you’ve ended up?

We have a new vid challenge for August! Answer those questions in a video, and you’re all set to potentially win some goodies at the end of the month (at least a Viddler tee and any other goodies that come along as the month goes on).

Here are the challenge steps:

1. Join the When I Grow Up group (invite your friends as well!).

2. Record/upload your video (tip: the more concise the video, the more likely you are to get people watching all the way through).

3. Tag video with “whenigrowup” and “vidchallenge.”

4. Add your video to the group, using the “Add to Group” button below the video player.

5. Tell your friends to vote for your video by favoriting (click the star to the right of the video title)!

Let the challenge begin! I look forward to learning more about where all of you have come from and what you were like when you were kids. I’ll be making a “When I Grow Up” video as well (did I want to be a Community Leader when I grew up?), so stay tuned, watch the video below, and watch the group to see what other users do with the challenge!
