Mahalo iPhone Blues
Leah D’Emilio (recent winner of Mahalo Idol and new co-host of Mahalo Idol) recently did a song for Mahalo Daily about what she calls the iPhone blues.
Her musical complaints include the two year required contract, additional texting plan required, the MobileMe costs, and the fact that the 3G network isn’t available in her area. (I definitely agree that AT&T wasn’t clear in making people aware that the 3G network is not yet available everywhere. Almost everyone I’ve spoken to didn’t know that, and I’m guessing it will lead to some unhappy 3G-dead-zone folk who don’t yet have these lightning fast speeds.)
What are you liking or not liking about the entire iPhone 3G package, now that some of you have done the waiting, gone through activation, and really started using this phone? Leave your thoughts in the comments!

July 14, 2008 - 12:19 pmHonestly, I’m just sick of all the complaining. Some of us still don’t have one and still have to wait to get one, and I feel like people who are lucky enough to have been able to go out and buy one on the first weekend should just stop and appreciate how lucky they are to have one when some of us are still forced to wait.

July 15, 2008 - 2:12 pm@chrisclark - That’s a really good point. I’ve complained about features that don’t work like they should at a couple of points, but I’m very aware that I’m lucky to be able to get one on the day of the launch, and personally, I did my homework on the plan and the contract changes and made sure there was 3G availability in my area.
Good comment.
