In this episode of TallcanTV (subscribe) the guys review Sparks, a premium malt beverage. They recommend you don’t attempt gay hot tub situations if you’ve never tried Sparks before; they’ve done that for you.
If you’ve spent some time in a hot tub lately, send me your videos!
Rhett and Link are a very clever musical-web-comedy-duo from Lillington, North Carolina. They have been creating video content online since 2000, and now have almost 200 music videos, films, live recordings, and sketches scattered all across the web.
One of their recent series is the Surrogate Sharers. Fans and viewers can send embarrassing experiences to Rhett and Link, and they will create a video you can send to a friend/acquaintance that you’d be too embarrassed to speak to directly.
I know I’ve certainly forgot peoples’ names even after I’ve met them a bunch of times. Alas, this is to all those people whom I call ‘buddy’, ‘pal’, and ‘dude’.
“What’s next for online video advertising?” This was the main question being asked, and answered, by panelist at the NY Video 2.0 July Meetup in New York City. Panelists include Dan Rayburn of Streaming Media (moderator), Kevin J. McGurn, VP, Advertising for NBC, Jeff Minsky, Director of Digital Media for OMD, Robert Victor, Product Manager, Emerging Media for DoubleClick, and Jed Savage, EVP, Strategy and Development for ScanScout.
With over 200 people in attendance and thousands of subscribers to this event – the NY Video 2.0 Meetup is quickly becoming one of the most valuable monthly meetups on the east coast. If you’re interested in attending, or speaking, at one of the NY Video 2.0 Meetups please see the official Meetup page for this event.
Thanks to Rob Sandie (sandieman), Viddler’s own President, for going to New York City as often as he can to shoot this event and share the video for all to see. I’m looking forward to going to a future NY Video 2.0 Meetup again. (See Aprils NY Video 2.0 Meetup video that I had the privilege to shoot).
We spoke on the phone while we both recorded ourselves with our cameras and then we put the two videos together. Turns out to be a pretty neat way to conduct video interviews when I live in Northeast Pennsylvania and he lives in Arizona.
Each week we take a few moments to answer your support questions. This week is a short and sweet episode with no special guests. Next we’ll have a guest and perhaps a slightly upgraded format! For now, enjoy ViddlerTV – Episode Four.
ViddlerTV is a weekly show where we answer your questions from the Support forum, so ask away and get your question answered on the next show. We also have a special guest!
We’re at it again! Answering your questions from the support forum and evening having a special guest Viddler user to learn how he, and the businesses he services, are using Viddler in unique ways. Watch Episode Two and let us know what you think!

ViddlerTV has been around for a little while and we’ve posted some great videos under that banner. And we’ll continue to do so – covering a wide range of topics and events for the foreseeable future. However, we really wanted to start “a show” that had everything to do with Viddler and all of our great Viddlers – so we’re also going to use ViddlerTV for that purpose.
I should have called this first episode “Contact me, and we’ll figure it out, together!” but I’m not that creative it seems. This first run of ViddlerTV is a test and an introduction on how we’ll structure the show and how all of you can interact with it. We’re hoping to do at least one episode per week covering your questions from the forum, highlighting the best videos and hardest working Viddlers that we find. Don’t hesitate to send me a message and suggest topics, etc. So, enjoy our first episode (beta).

Thanks for shooting the footage Rob. Looks like some really great presentations and an interesting meetup. I hope I never get stood up at the avatar prom.
The entire Viddler team is going to be attending the Web 2.0 Expo and Web2Open in San Francisco, California. Yesterday we had a strategy meeting to get all of our notes about the expo together and go over what we’d like to accomplish while we’re there. Rob Sandie, Donna DeMarco, Harry Snodgrass, and I (Colin Devroe) met in Viddler’s Bethlehem, Pennsylvania offices to have this meeting. Here is a quick recap of what we went over:
We’re looking forward to attending this year’s Web 2.0 Expo and we’re going to be announcing some details regarding what Viddler will be doing at the Expo, where we’ll hanging out after the event – and how you can be involved. More details coming in the next few days, stay tuned.
If you are going to be in San Francisco from April 14th to 19th 2007 – send me a message!
