Gary Vaynerchuk, from WineLibraryTV, thinks that Jaiku is a big, big part of Google’s future social networking efforts. In this video Evan Wolf (evanwolf) asks Jyri Engestrom from Jaiku about ‘presence’.

Presence is an interesting topic because as services like Jaiku and Twitter become more mainstream, we’re able to discover our friend’s presence any time we want to. Do you think this is a good thing? Bad thing? How could it be done better?

Some of the things that Jaiku is doing with ‘cell phone presence’ is amazing and I never knew that Jaiku had the ability to get this information without me doing the manual entry. Great interview Evan.
