Viddler iJustine may have called it a Cloverview review, but it isn’t. I think what happened is that when these two blonde crazy people went to go see Cloverfield, the monster came out of the screen and invaded Los Angeles! I mean, what better way to travel than through a movie screen from New York to LA?

One thing today’s feature video does show, is that with today’s software it isn’t all that difficult to create a pretty suspenseful handycam-shot video that seems pretty convincing.

I’m pretty sure Cloverfield might end up producing a lot of clones in the coming years (maybe not monster movies but handycam shot movies made for less than $50M). And I think that is a good thing. I’m hoping a lot of these things end up on the Internet for free to watch too.

Nicely done ladies, I mean – crazy people.
