Open Media Web: Tantek Çelik interview

Posted in Featured by Colin Devroe on January 13, 2008

Chris Messina (friend: factoryjoe) interviews Tantek Çelik (favorite) for the Open Media Web interview series (see also: Open Media Web Viddler group).

In this interview Tantek covers a few really important topics: what does it mean to be open?, how are some doing this already?, data portability, and file format adoption cycles. If you are interested in, or are currently, building what you’d like to be an open web service, I suggest you watch the Open Media Web project very closely.

Thanks to Chris for sharing this video with our community and to Tantek for taking the time to do the interview.

Don’t forget: If you would like to suggest a video to be featured on our blog please send me a message, use our forums, or just comment on this post.
