Running a marathon with Steve Mackel

Published October 14, 2008 by Colin Devroe in Community Spotlight

As someone who tries to run a few miles a few times a week, I still can not imagine what it would be like to run a full marathon (26 miles). To top it off, Steve Mackel from SoCalRunning.com (subscribe: socalrunning), takes along his video camera for the entire marathon to give updates!

Congratulations to Steve for setting his own personal record! This is definitely inspiration for me to perhaps push a little harder on my next run and perhaps set some new goals in exercise for myself.

What about you? Do any running lately?

Awesome job! Being a 10-time marathon myself via Team In Training (http://www.teamintraining.org) I know the tough training that Steve and his team go thru and what fun marathon day is.
