Data visualization with ICCARUS
Today’s featured video is yet another great example of how many cool things are being done in Australia! At the latest Webjam (we’ve featured Webjam videos before), this time in Perth Australia, the winner of the demonstrations were Richard and Simon from Scouta and their data visualization tool called ICCARUS.
Scouta allows you to rate video and audio podcasts and then recommends other shows based on your interests. ICCARUS was built to show the relationships between people, podcasts, friends, tags, and it would appear - just about any interaction that happens on Scouta.
Very cool guys. Deserving of the win!
Update: The Scouta guys have shared a screencast of ICCARUS with us and they’ve even been featured on TechCrunch now. Congrats again everyone!
If you would like to suggest a video to be featured on our blog please send me a message, use our forums, or just comment on this post.
