For years almost everything you hear on the radio is a cover or remake of a much older song. You may think one of your favorite songs is completely original because you’ve never heard anything like it before, but chances are the beat, chorus, or other aspect of the song was taken some music possibly decades old. That’s great for the person/band whom created the original song, but it means that almost nothing is original anymore. Sad, I know.

If you’re going to cover a song, at least admit it, and don’t try and rehash it as your own.

Radiohead’s first single, “Creep”, was pretty chill due to the band’s alternative rock genre. That said, Lana Michelson (subscribe) recorded this acoustic cover which is even more chill.
