Woopra Exits Beta
Anybody that runs a website is most likely familiar with analytic services such as Google Analytics, Woopra, or WordPress Stats. They’re fantastic tools for monitoring statistics about viewership including page views, geographical representation of views, trends, and much more.
One of the many advantages of Woopra is that its analytics appear in real-time. This means you don’t have to way a day or so to see the affects of a link you post to Twitter, Facebook, or another service. All the data is right there and looking sexy on Woopra’s stunning user interface.
John Pozadzides (friend him up!) is the CEO of Woopra and he video blogs about technology, personal life, and updates about Woopra. Today’s video is about the latter: Woopra has been in beta since April 2008, but it’s now officially out of beta and ready for anyone to use.
Cali Lewis (host of GeekBrief.TV, lover of Woopra) joins John as he goes through the steps of converting an account from a beta account to a paid plan.
If you’re not already a member of Woopra, then sign up and try it out. When you’re staring at your real-time analytics and you’re jaw is on the floor be sure to wipe up the drool and upgrade to a high-capacity account — you’ll likely go through those view limits on the beta account in no time.
For news about what Woopra is up to you can subscribe to their blog and/or follow any/all of these Twitter accounts:
@JohnPoz – John’s personal Twitter
@EliekHoury – Woopra co-founder and developer
@Woopra – Official Twitter account for Woopra
@WoopraStatus – Updates on Woopra’s status
Also, be sure to check out John’s blog — One Man’s Blog — he’s an avid photographer, videographer, computer expert, trained chef & welder (hopefully not at the same time — fiery stir fry anyone?), and world traveler. Therefore, he definitely has something interesting for you to check out there!
Remember: If you’d like to suggest a video to feature on the Viddler blog and front page, then please send me a message, link it up in our forums, or just comment on this post.
