I’m assuming that WizzKid had a backup of everything before starting this project of his. I have to assume it, or my heart would stop while watching this video… This effort went differently, but I after the video below, I can safely say that I will never be trying any of this at home.

Rodney of Reachd gives three really good reasons for loving Viddler, and I have to say that they are three of my favorite reasons as well. Thanks to Rodney for a great video (with lots of fun video tricks) explaining why Viddler is really worth looking into.

Mobile OS show filmed on a mobile phone = COOL

Symbian is “the open mobile operating system” and Symbian-Guru (friend/subscribe: symbianguru) covers news and tips about Symbian phones… ON a Symbian mobile phone. This episode is filmed on a Nokia N82, and the quality (considering that it was filmed on a mobile phone) is pretty impressive. I may be obsessively fan girl about my iPhone, but I’m really loving what Nokia is doing with Symbian.

Brand Yourself! Viddler’s new customizable player

Last Thursday, at the New Media Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada - during the keynote address, Gary Vaynerchuk (friend: garyvaynerchuk) of WineLibrary TV (subscribe: winelibrarytv) asked: “When your YouTube video goes viral, whose brand are you promoting?”. The entire audience answered aloud: “YouTube’s”.

Not anymore.

Viddler’s new customizable player is changing the way the world thinks about embeddable video on the Web. Brand Yourself using our player’s features like having your logo in the lower third, the player colors of your choice, and the player linking back to your site and not ours.

Update: Here is a quick video demonstration (with better audio) on how you can do this for yourself. It is super simple.

Kaysha finds a one-man band

Kaysha recently shared this really cool video of a one-man band playing music on the street in Namibia. Really neat video, and thanks to Kaysha for sharing!

Kaysha’s use of the new customizable player is looking really cool as well. Love the colors and the new player logo he’s using. Looking snazzy!

OhDoctah didn’t have a concrete career plan when he was young, but he is clearly living his own personal dream and wears a lot of hats in terms of what he “does” now that he’s grown up. Great video submission for the August Viddler vidchallenge, and a great outlook on life. Thanks for sharing!

iJustine is headed to Vegas as well, and just recently uploaded her intro video (I promise, mine is coming… Colin has shamed me into getting it done soon!) Also, Colin’s player in this morning’s feature was looking pretty nice, but Justine’s player is totally pinked out and looks like it might be Starburst-flavored. Lovin’ it (and thinking of eating it).

Viddler… calling Viddler for Flight #VEGASHEREWECOME? I’ll be boarding that flight shortly.
